Make it on the weekend eat it all week, Healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I've heard. ha! I really beleive protien is a must, because it will keep you fuller longer.

So if you are like my husband and son and love boiled eggs why not make enought on the weekend for the whole week?

1) Take a whole dozen of eggs and put them in a pot of cold water, slowly bring the water to a slow boil. It might take some time, once you have a slow boil then you start your timer. I boil ours for 15 mintues once the water starts boiling. Here is another key, once they are done add them to a bowl of ice water. It will make them easier to peel.

2) At the same time, turkey bacon can be made ahead of time too. I make mine in the over, it's easier and no burning by bacon grease. ha!!

I use parchment paper on a baking sheet, pre-heat the oven to 400. Bake for 18 to 22 mins. Depends on how you like your bacon and some ovens vary in temputure so keep an eye until you know how long to cook your bacon. Then once it's baked put them on paper towels to get the grease off. If you let the parchment paper sit there you can through the whole paper away with the harden grease for an easy clean up (CLEAN pan, no mess). I store it in the fridge in a container with paper towels.

3) I always wait to cut my fruit in the morning, but that's fast and easy and then it won't get mushy. Any fruit will do. Even two boiled eggs (with Salt and pepper) works, my husband is just not a big breakfast person.

You could even prep this in a containers for the week, grab & to go with an apple for your fruit if you are in a hurry and need to eat it at work. ENJOY!
