Tomatoes!!!!

Tomatoes!!!! In general eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, confers protection against high blood pressure, high cholesterol, strokes, and heart disease.
I really love ripe tomatoes, when they are firm and fresh! I can eat a whole one with just salt.
Have you tried baking a tomato?
Now add parmesan cheese to the mix and you have something really amazing.
Sometimes I even put a slice of onion under the tomatoes.
Simply slice 2 tomatoes, kind of thick.

Sprinkle on your Parmesan, salt and pepper. Thyme goes really nice on top too but I just planted seeds in my garden yesterday so nothing has grown yet.

Bake in the oven at 375 for about 35 to 40 minutes until your cheese turns a little brown and toasty on top.
This is a really fast and easy side. It goes great with steak and chicken. I can eat it just by itself!!!
