My children are always asking for Chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast but I want them to have enough protein in the mornings to get them to lunch.
So I came up with this new healthy way to make pancakes. It's loaded with protein and vitamins.
I also make extra and then warm them up in the toaster the next morning before school. You can even make a huge batch and freeze them.
If you are short on time make a huge batch Sunday morning and use them all through out the week. Your kids will love you and be getting the protein they need!!
Refrigerated
1 Egg
1 1/4 almond milk
Baking & Spices
1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour or coconut flour
3 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 scoop of Vanilla Shakeology Vitamin and protein powder (you can order it here: www.myshakeology.com/Queenlizard )
Add as many chocolate chips as you desire
3 tbsp of Coconut oil
Mix all togther and then use a pan on the stove with coconut oil to make a couple at a time.
Enjoy! XO Liz
If you want to find out more about shakeology, I highly recommend it. I use it everyday. I drink it, bake with it and I'll keep sharing my ideas. It gives me energy, it curbs my sweet tooth and it's loaded with healthy vitamins and proteins. It's more than just a shake, I swear by it!!
